Your home library has more books about France and in French than your books on all other topics in English and other languages added together.

Frankly francophile

You take an interest in things like the subjunctive imperfect while asking yourself: Am I queer?

Francophile Even In Your Stupor.

You must be Francophile when your visiting daughter tells you that after surgery. in your rambling, you carried on a completely sensible conversation for over an hour, totally in French, with an imaginary visitor, comedian Allen King, who didn’t even speak French.

Mme. Ramage

..you are the child of a French war bride and an American soldier. Mom was busy raising 5 daughters all under the age of 4 yrs. old (including triplets!) and learning English. I was chosen to play "Chaperon Rouge" in our 4th gr. French play and I never looked back. Mme Slack from our PBS station was in the audience and I was in heaven. I was the President of the French club in high school. I studied French in college and later lived and worked at a hotel in Les Sables D'Olonne. My dream come true. The first time I went to Paris, I stood under the Arc de Triomphe at 2 am and cried! I have a blog Toutes Choses Francaise" and I don't have to love everything French to be a Francophile!

I know I am a Francophile because

I have more French cookbooks than any other kind and I always look first for French dishes to make when planning special events. There are more pictures of the Eiffel tower in my house than anything else. Even my shower curtain has Eiffel towers on it.

You sing Disney songs in French all the time... We've gotten through The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, and Aladdin. (And Anastasia, though it's not Disney).
