The Past Participle and Passé Composé

In French, a common way to express the past tense "confided" is with the passé composé. To form this, use the conjugate of the auxiliary verb avoir, then attach the past participle confié.

For example, "I have confided" is "j'ai confié" while "we have confided" is "nous avons confié."
