Set your computer to use French (PC)

If you use Windows, you can immerse yourself a bit more in French by telling your computer to display menus and dialog boxes in French.

1. Open "Control Panel"
2. Click "Regional and Language Options"
3. Windows XP: on "Languages" tab, find "Language used in menus and dialogs"
4. Windows 2000: on "General" tab, find "Menus and dialogs"
5. Choose "French"
6. Click "OK" as many times as necessary to close all dialogs
7. Reboot your computer
8. Your computer's menus, dialog boxes, and help files will now be in French!

Notes

The French won't show up until you reboot your computer.

Some programs will not be affected by the language change.
