La Guinguette is an online source of French news. Features range from politics to culture and include a sound file, French transcript, and English translation.
French audiomagazine
The four features in each monthly edition of La Guinguette are recorded by native French-speaking professional journalists. Features are usually about 8-10 minutes long, the quality of sound files is impeccable, and a slowed-down version is available for each one. The sound files are in MP3 and Windows Media formats and can be listened to online or downloaded to your computer, iPod, or MP3 player. In addition, each feature includes contextual notes, a word-for-word French transcript, and English translation which you can read before, while, or after listening to the sound file.
