French Subject Pronouns - Pronoms sujets
The subject of a verb is the person or thing which performs that action. Subject pronouns replace this person or thing. When learning French, you must understand subject pronouns before you can begin conjugating verbs, because the forms of verbs change for each subject pronoun.

French Subjunctive - Subjonctif
The subjunctive mood is used to express actions or ideas which are subjective or otherwise uncertain: will/wanting, emotion, doubt, possibility, necessity, judgment. It is nearly always found in dependent clauses introduced by que or qui, and the subjects of the dependent and main clauses are usually different.
