Perfect Participle - Passé composé du participe présent - French Grammar

Definition: A compound tense that describes a condition existing in the past or an action that took place right before another action.

Formation: Present participle auxiliary verb + past participle

Examples:

Ayant vu Luc, j'ai souri.
Having seen Luc, I smiled.

Étant venu seul à Paris, il a vécu seul.
Having come to Paris alone, he lived alone.

Misspelling: Passe compose du participe present
