Definition: A negative adjective negates, refuses, or casts doubt on a quality of the noun it modifies. Like other French adjectives, negative adjectives have to agree with the word they modify in gender and number.

Examples:

   ne... aucun - no

   ne... nul - not any

   ne... pas un - not one
