France has many beautiful cities - here are some of my impressions and photos.

Annecy

The Venice of the Alps.

Besançon

Préfecture du département du Doubs et de la région Franche-Comté. Ville d'art et d'histoire. Site majeur Vauban inscrit au Patrimoine mondial de l'Unesco. Première ville verte de France. Il y a foison de raisons d'aller à Besançon.

Dijon

Dijon is a beautiful city in the French region of Burgundy (Bourgogne).

Grenoble

Grenoble is one of the largest, hottest, and coldest cities in France.

Hyères

What to do and where to go in Hyères, a beautiful city in the south of France.

Limoges

It's known for its porcelain, but Limoges has some beautiful architecture too.

Lyon

Lyon (in French), Lyons (in English), is the third largest city in France. It's famous for its old town, Vieux Lyon, bouchon restaurants, silk industry, Fourvière basilica, and the two rivers and three hills the city is built upon.

Metz

Metz is a beautiful city with plenty to see and do. And you can stay on a barge!

Nice

Nice is the second most touristed city in France, the fifth largest French city by population, and one of the most beautiful.

Paris

Perpignan, in Languedoc-Roussillon, is a fascinating city and the capital of French Catalonia.
