1. Je crains qu'il ne soit mort.
2. Elle a pleuré avant qu'elle ne se soit endormie.
3. Es-tu (Êtes-vous) plus grand que Luc ne l'est ? (Wondering what le is doing here? Here's the answer.)
4. Il a empêché que je ne vienne. (Of course, you could also say "Il m'a empêché de venir," but since we're trying to practice the ne explétif... :-)
5. Le temps est meilleur qu'il ne l'était hier.
6. Nous avons peur qu'il ne le finisse pas. (Sorry, had to throw one tricky question in here!)
7. Je ne doute pas qu'elle ne l'a fait.
8. Ils ne mangeront pas à moins que tu ne t'asseyes (vous ne vous asseyiez).
