| un smicard (informal) - minimum-wage earner
[smee kar] Comment peuvent les smicards survivre ? - How can minimum-wage earners survive? Smicard comes from SMIC - Salaire Minimum Interprofessionel de Croissance - minimum wage. This terms replaced the now old-fashioned term SMIG - Salaire Minimum Interprofessionel Garantie. Minimum-wage earners were then called "smigard." Tired of being a "smicard"?
