NOTE: CÉ has suspended operations pending an ongoing lawsuit, and because their site is unavailable, this sound file is too. You can still use this exercise to work on your French reading comprehension, but the audio file will not work.
In April and May 2007, France will choose a new president, but at the moment there are some problems with the normal electoral process, including an important candidate not yet meeting the requirements to be on the ballot.
