Forum Navigation

Disappearing messages

You may have noticed that messages seem to disappear in the forum. In fact, older messages can be read at any time. Here's how:

On the top of the screen is a drop-down box which may say something like "unread to me" or "today." Click the box and choose "All" and then click "go."

Alternatively, you can click the "next" button near the top of the screen to see the next few discussions in each folder.

Changing the subject

When you are in a forum discussion and want to change the subject, it will make navigation a lot easier for everyone if you begin a new discussion. For example, if you are in a discussion called L'imparfait and want to ask another member How is your cat?, please start a new discussion. You can do this by clicking new post and then. once the new message screen appears, choosing the appropriate folder. Doing this will allow you to give an accurate title to the new discussion and will keep the old discussion from getting off track. Please note that I sometimes move messages in order to put them in the most appropriate folder.

Editing / Deleting messages

If you write a message and then find that you would like to change it, you can change it by clicking edit at the bottom of the message.

Please edit your messages rather than deleting them, as it is very frustrating to see the new graphic only to discover that the message has been deleted.

Problems and Questions

If you experience technical problems, please use the customer care form. If you have a question for me, please post it on the forum. I'm here to help you!
