It is exaclty right. In fact, it is very funny because each time the moment comes, we are always laughing with my husband saying” bon, ils vont encore nous sortir le chasse croise aux informations”

Le chassé-croisé, c’est presque une tradition. Un été sans ses chassés-croisés et ses bouchons ne serait pas un vrai été.
Sinon Laura a parlé du chassé-croisé entre juilletistes et aoûtiens mais il y a aussi un chassé-croisé entre juilletistes à la mi-juillet et un chassé-croisé entre aoûtiens à la mi-août. Car de plus en plus de gens ne partent que 15 jours.
What an apt expression. I just got back from doing something I said I would never do – take a 2 week holiday in Europe in August (and now I’m more determined than ever never to do it again!). I still find the way Europe treats holidays a litle bizarre.
