Hanukkah is a Jewish festival of survival and freedom that lasts for eight days. Learn some French vocabulary related to this annual Jewish celebration which begins this year on 20 December.

Thank you very much for an interesting article about Hunukkah. As we have very little to do with Jewish holidays here in Japan, we just don’t know anything about them. To tell the truth, this is the first time I’ve ever heard of this religious celebration in my life. The artcle reminds me afresh of the necessity of learning a lot more about the Jewish people and all the other related things–more in detail. In additon to French, I can also learn from you so many other different things connected with the language, too! Words fail to express my thanks properly. All I can say is “Thank you, Laura-san”. Comme je vous lis depuis longtemps, j’apprécie toujours que vous partagiez cet article avec vos lectures juifs ainsi que ne le sont pas.
