OK, I’ll ask. What is the difference between un citrouille and un potiron? Both meaning “pumpkin.”

They’re two different varieties; all I know is that a potiron is larger.

Thanks, Laura. I do remember from my student days in Quebec that pumpkin pie was “tarte au citrouille.”
