The other day I went looking for information about Menton's Bastille Day celebrations on the tourist office website, and all I learned was that the fireworks will be at 10:30pm. So I was happily surprised this morning to hear some lively marching band music, and to see the rows of jeeps and their costumed passengers lined up at the gas station, getting ready for the parade later this morning.

Interesting — We were in Menton for Bastille Day, too
But, we celebrated Bastille Day up in the mountains at Isola 2000 with the obligatory fireworks. Your information has been very helpful on our current trip.
