Could you do at some point do a discussion of the expression “du coup?” It seems like it is being used more and more but is it difficult to translate or find an english equivalent. Great blog and newsletter, btw.

Ce matin en lisant “Le Courrier picard” EN LIGNE (puisque je ne demeure pas en France), j’ai remarqué cette phrase ” il n’hésite d’ailleurs pas à proposer davantage de traitements homéopathiques. I think d’ailleurs may be used as a filler word here.
or maybe “incidentally he dosen’t hesitate”?
Crapaudvert – je devrais lire ce qui précède cette phrase pour être sûre, mais de but en blanc, je le traduirais ici avec “moreover.”
