English translation
I have described Strasbourg's cathedral in detail, but there are also other beautiful architectural monuments. In fact, when we arrived at our hotel, we originally thought that Saint Paul's Church was the famous cathedral. Very beautiful, with tall, slender spires, this Protestant church was built on the small island called Sainte Hélène at the end of the 19th century.
Saint Peter the Young's Catholic church is also very pretty, with the largest dome in Alsace. I added "Catholic" because there is a second Saint Peter's Church which is Protestant. Strasbourg is not short on places of worship.

I’m enjoying your articles on Strasbourg immensely — I spent a year there in the late 80′s at l’université des sciences humaines, and your descriptions and photos are bringing back some great memories!
I’m currently studying French at AS Level and your articles are very interesting. They also help me with reading practice for my forthcoming exam in June.

Don’t forget the wonderful protestant churchs there.
I just assumed protestants were just a small after-thought in europe.
