Internet Language - French or Franglais?

What language do French speakers use on the internet? Although the French government tries to limit the use of English in France (most recently by banning the word "email" in favor of courriel), the internet and other computer technologies are, by their very nature, somewhat immune. What is the relationship between French and English on the internet?
